Google Promotes Panjat Pinang

WOOT? WOOT? WOOT?

So, now Google will celebrate every country historical day,...  or it's just for Indonesia??? Haha.

Not that I'm complaining, tho, but I wonder why Indonesia Independence Day and its infamous climbing-up-to-top-of-a-nut-tree alias "Panjat Pinang" has been chosen as today's Google icon.

Hm, prolly because Google reaaally understands that this 'Panjat Pinang' thing is a trademark for celebrating Indonesia Independence Day.

Nah, with Google also commemorates our beloved country Indonesia by putting up its banner and a picture of a man trying to climb the tree, so I, as a true Indonesian citizen, must also do the same thing. Rite? Rite?

Selamat Hari Merdeka, Indonesia. Our deepest gratitude goes for our outstanding, impressive, and brave heroes of Indonesia. We can never breath in such a free life without your courage and one of a kind bravery.

Happy Independence Day!

May Allah bless Indonesia, always. Amiiin.

Check.Check.Check!!!

she's so big-hearted (um, can't really tell)
but not so remarkable (well, yeah)
just an ordinary humble girl (sort of...he he)
expecting nothing as we're made to think (what?)
it's a pretty person's world (I see)
but you are beautiful and you better go show it (I AM! Haha)
so go look again (okay!)
you gotta be true to your own (of course, I should)
if you really wanna go to the top (Why won't I?)
do you really wanna win? (Absolutely!)
don't believe in living normal (I don't)
just to satisfy demand (surely not...)

well if you wanna get free (I do, I do)
and if you wanna do the passionate thing (I do want)
and if you wanna get smart for the sake of your heart and all (I DO!!!)
you should own your name and stand up tall (Roger that!)
and get real and see the beauty in ugly (I believe it'll be hard, but... OK!)

well you are fresh, you're face is fabulous (couldn't agree more, he he)
don't forget you're one of a kind (frankly speaking, I am...)
when nobody is checking the deeds you've done (hm, hopefully no)
and nobody is hearing your cries (ah... what to do?)
you make all of the fashion statements (sure, sure)
just by dressing up your mind (easier said...)

well if you wanna get free (no if.)
and if you wanna do the passionate thing (by all means, yesss!)
and if you wanna get smart for the sake of your heart and all (seriously...)
you should own your name and stand up tall (oh, so this is how?)
and get real and see the beauty in ugly (I Promise.)
and see the beauty in ugly. (Promise. Really. Truly.)

Astagfirullah,... Alhamdulillah

What the...

Dear God, how I wished it had never happened. We humans... we, have committed what we shouldn't.

Astagfirullah. Astagfirullah. Astagfirullah.

--hours later--

I'm still so overwhelmed by the breaking news. My heart's tearing...

Amin. Amin. Amin.

B.L.A.N.K

As the title speaks... it's empty. Empty. Yeah, empty. I say it once again in case you don't get my point. Hooyeah.

Udah lama gak nge-blog, bukan karena gak ada kesempatan buwat internetan... but, tiap kali hasrat hati ingin menulis sesuatu yang udah pingin dikeluarkan... eh, tiba-tiba jadi clueless. Jadi gak tau mau cerita dari mana, jadi males... jadi akhirnya gak jadi deh. Heheheh.

Parah. Abis.

Welcoming Ramadhan: Hold My Hand

I hear the flower’s kinda crying loud
The breeze’s sound in sad, oh no
Tell me when did we become,
So cold and empty inside
Lost a way long time ago
Did we really turn out blind
We don’t see that we keep hurting each other, no
All we do is just fight

Now we share the same bright sun,
The same round moon
Why don’t we share the same love
Tell me why not
Life is shorter than most have thought

Hold my hand
There are many ways to do it right
Hold my hand
Turn around and see what we have left behind
Hold my hand, my friend
We can save the good spirit of me and you
For another chance
And let’s pray for a beautiful world
A beautiful world I share with you

Children seem like they’ve lost their smile
On the new blooded playgrounds, oh no
How could we ignore, heartbreaking crying sounds
And we’re still going on
Like nobody really cares
And we just stopped feeling all the pain because
Like it’s a daily basic affair

No matter how far I might be
I’m always gonna be your neighbor
There’s only one small planet where to be
So, I’m always gonna be your neighbor
We cannot hide, we can’t deny
That we’re always gonna be neighbors
You’re neighbor, my neighbor
We’re neighbors

So, hold my hand
There are many ways to do it right
Hold my hand
Turn around and see what have left behind
Hold my hand, my friend
We can save the good spirit of me and you
For another chance

And let’s pray for a beautiful world
A beautiful world I share with you
