How to Say "Hello" in Korean

When we want to greet a person that we've just met, use this expression:
안녕하십니까? (an-nyeong-ha-sim-ni-kka?) in a formal situation. It is usually for elder people or boss, in order to show respect.

But, in daily conversation, we can only say:
안녕하세요? (an-nyeong-ha-se-yo?), even though we've just already known the person, because it is used in informal situation.

And, for friends or people we are really close with, just use:
안녕! (an-nyeong!), for short and intimate expression.
