For not being able to attend your wedding party today
For not being able to go back to our hometown today
For, again and again, disappointing you and the rest of my friends
At least,
I did come!
I did go to your wedding ceremony that day!
You saw me, didn’t you?
So, let me off this once, would you?
--refreshing my mind, recalling my memories—
My dear friend,
Remember when we first met?
It was back then during our first year in junior high school.
From that time to this moment, we’ve already been friends for…14 YEARS!!! I can’t believe myself!
You know, I’ve just realized that, in fact, you’re the only boy-friend (^^) I have known in such a long period of time…(just so you know, I’m going to tell my husband—in the future—that we have such friendship!), yeah, and I know we’re getting older and older…ugh…life!
So, don’t bother to remind me anymore, like you always do, for this matter of fact… (_ _);;
Hmm, another thing is that, you’re also my one and only male-rival (^^) during our teenage years, whether it was in junior or high school.
I recall when I got the highest score for our National Exam in junior high, you were a bit disappointed, though I didn’t aware of that since, you know, we also had some arguments and such, so I was also a bit ignorant at the time…forgive me, okay! (^^)
Well, you’ve paid it back, right?
You got your turn in high school…didn’t you?
I felt so happy, too, not only because you were my friend but also because I thought you really deserved it, since I knew that you actually performed very well than I did at all the subjects…because for me, you were (and are) a genius…(^^)
Now, note that I do praise you publicly, something I never did before… (``,)
Then, my friend, our competition had ended…It’s no longer available (^^), I believe so.
You and I have chosen different paths.
But, you always succeed first, it’s so envious…
You got married first (^^)…that’s a success, am I right?
